Current Position
The Vienna Doctoral Program on Complex Quantum Systems (CoQuS) is a training center for more than 40 students who are selected from an international pool of applicants, based on their academic excellence, scientific success and ambition. The CoQuS programme comprises weekly seminars by international guest speakers, lectures by long-term visiting scholars, international secondments, annual summer schools and retreats, soft skill training, and outreach activities.
The FWF funded doctoral program CoQuS is jointly hosted and co-financed by the University of Vienna and the Vienna University of Technology.

About CoQuS
My roles at CoQuS - Science Communication
General responsibilities
Individual and group mentoring regarding the improvement of presentation techniques, advice on career development including composing research grant proposals, writing academic and non-academic CVs and cover letters, conducting mock interviews, the refinement of academic English and media training;

one-to-one sessions, group exercises, evaluation of recorded video tapes;
Selected projects
* Organisation and moderation of two workshops at the “Science Film Festival” organised and hosted by the sf2, Junge Kurie of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the Natural History Museum Vienna: “Science and the Media” and “Science Communication” (in cooperation with the Center for Doctoral Studies, University of Vienna, the Science Center Netzwerk and the Junge Kurie of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, September 2012);
* I offer training courses at the Center for Doctoral Studies, University of Vienna.
* I am also a trainer for the Research Skills Development Course at the Graduate School of Engineering and Physical Sciences, Imperial College London.
I am currently working at the Vienna Doctoral Program on Complex Quantum Systems (CoQuS).

Dissemination of the research of the CoQuS scientists by issuing press releases, working with the media and producing online and print material for the general public, organisation of selected dissemination projects such as e.g. permanent and special exhibitions, guided tours, public talks;
