My responsibilities included:

monitoring the media for science, health and environment press coverage and summarising results into a media bulletin;

organising a brainstorm on the media coverage on GM crops;

undertaking a horizon scanning in the area of RNA interference and fish stocks, investigating the suitability as topics for a UK national news press briefing and providing appropriate reports;

10 years of experience in monitoring on a weekly basis a small group of girls (from the age of 8 years until the age of 18 years)  in religious education (Roman Catholic);

voluntary posts in a Roman Catholic society (Marian Congregation) including Vice president, treasurer, secretary;

profound experience in fund raising by organising Christmas markets and coffee parties for charities;
